Worth the Workout! – Lebanon, TN Child & Family Photographer

A few weeks ago, Angela contacted me to see if we could squeeze in a family session.  My schedule has been CRAZY!  I am super thankful for that, but it has been a little overwhelming to say the least.  I’m doing my best to get everyone in that I can, and I’m so glad we were able to work it out to do this.  It clouded up this afternoon, and I was worried that rain might end up ruining our session.  Thankfully, there wasn’t a drop around! 

When I got the first email from her about scheduling a session, I didn’t know who Angela was.  Shortly after, she emailed me again and told me her maiden name and it all clicked.  She was a mean softball pitcher waaay back in the day, and we had a close mutual friend as well.  It’s been so wonderful to reconnect with so many old friends and acquaintances through photos!  I’m absolutely loving it! 

Now, back to their session…I think everyone was worn out by the end of it!  Trying to wrangle an almost 2 year old, 4 year old, and a dog makes for an interesting time!  I appreciate that you guys were so patient, and think that it paid off in the end!

Don’t let this sweet face fool you!  She is super quick & had me on my toes!  I even sang for her, which was a horrible experience for everyone else involved I’m sure!

This little guy was adorable, and simply could not keep a straight face when I told him not to smile..which was really what I wanted anyway!

I just had to post this shot.  She didn’t really cry.  I think she was just being a little dramatic, but I think it’s so cute!

Ok, people..when you schedule a family shoot, I’m making it mandatory that you take a couple of shots with only your spouse!  Whenever I ask this, everyone always seems indifferent or says no!  Why is that?!  I’ll admit that I have WAY more photos of my kids than with my husband, BUT that doesn’t mean it’s not important.  After all, those kids wouldn’t even exist without him, right?!  So, off my soapbox, but Ang – aren’t you glad we took these?!  You guys are H-O-T!!

So glad you got in touch with me!  It was great to see you & meet your precious family!!
