Angie & Drew’s Wedding Day! – Nashville & Lebanon, TN Wedding Photographer

Saturday was the most beautiful day that we’ve had in a few weeks, and lucky for Angie and Drew, it was their day!  Their engagement session was one of my all time favorites, so I’ve been anxiously looking forward to their wedding day for months!  I hope you enjoy this glimpse into their special day.

Angie is an effortless beauty, but on this day she was absolutely stunning.  Her dress was to die for!  I had pictured her in a form fitting dress, and some of her bridesmaids had too.  She told them that she wanted to be a princess, and I would say she succeeded 100 percent!

Her groom was pretty easy on the eyes as well!

They chose to do a first look and see each other before the ceremony.  In my experience, I think that this really helps the bride and groom to relax and enjoy the ceremony just a little bit more.  I love this series!

While I almost always prefer to do photos outside, Eastwood Christian Church was gorgeous!  When we opened up the doors, I was in love with the light and how it was all looking.  So, as you’ll see we did lots of photos there to take advantage of it!

What an amazing couple!!

My friend, Rebecca Walker, went along to this wedding with me to second shoot and assist.  The shot below (as well as some of the others posted) is hers, and I adore it!

The bridal party was so much fun to hang out with!  They made the day so enjoyable for Angie & Drew!

And it’s time!

LOVE this church!!

After the wedding, I went with the bridal party to Rippy’s on Broadway while their guests enjoyed cocktail hour.  This was a first for me, but a fun little twist on their day!  A little champagne in the limo to celebrate!!

The crowd at Rippy’s cheered for them when they walked in, and they enjoyed their unofficial first dance together to a country band!

After an hour or so downtown, we headed to the Millenium Maxwell House for the reception.  The ballroom has an amazing view of downtown and windows all the way around the room.  It was the perfect space.  This cake by The Bake Shoppe tasted amazing!!

I love Angie’s ring, and her dainty band.  So pretty!!

I would say without a doubt that one of my favorite things about watching Angie and Drew together is their tenderness for one another.  I’m thankful to have caught that a few times during the night.  The way they look at one another, the impromptu kisses on the hand, or dips on the dance floor make my heart happy for them!

The matron of honor and the best man (Drew’s dad) did a great job giving the toast.  His dad was a total trip, and I laughed at him all night long!

The first dance as a married couple!

Another one of Rebecca’s shots that I love!! 🙂

Besides my own of course, this was the most fun reception I have ever been to.  Everyone danced – young, old, and in between.  AND, they danced ALL night long!!

Even the grandma’s broke it down on the dancefloor!

Angie & Drew seemed to have a blast, which afterall, is the goal of the wedding day. They enjoyed their friends and family and most of all each other.  Of course, they didn’t miss out on the dancing either!

A few fun dancing shots to cap the night off.  They even ended up getting the DJ to stay longer than he was initially booked.  The party was that good folks!

Angie & Drew, thank you so much to you and your families for allowing me to be a small part of your wedding day.  I wish you guys all the best, and I hope you are having an amazing time on your honeymoon!!!
