This past Saturday, Alison and Drew tied the knot at Old Hickory Country Club. Despite a little drama at the hair salon that got us off to a late start, the day ended up just perfect! Alison & Drew are such a fun couple, and I’ve really enjoyed getting to know them the past few months. Their love is so evident when they’re together, and just makes happy :)! They share the gift of humor, and I have no doubt that their marriage will also be full of laughter, regardless of whatever life may throw them. I am thankful to have been included in your wedding day and I hope you love your preview!!

The wedding was held just outside of the Clubhouse. They had the picture perfect August day with sunshine and very comfortable temperatures. I have to admit that when the groom teared up, so did I. I simply cannot hold it together at weddings if I see someone else cry!

After the ceremony, we headed down on the golf course to take some photos. The light was amazing & I am officially in love with photos on the golf course. Once was what a little scary terrain for me, is now a favorite :)! The photo of the bride with the flower girls is pretty funny because the bride’s heels were stuck in the fairway and shortly after she took a little tumble :)!

We then dismissed the bridal party and finally got some photos of the new Mr. & Mrs. all by themselves!

And then finally, it was time to par-tay!! The reception was gorgeous! Alison & Drew had small cakes for each table to enjoy. They cut their own cake and then went around to each table as the guests were cutting their own. It was a really nice touch, and I know their guests appreciated them really making the effort to greet everyone! There was apparently a little set-up with the garter & bouquet toss, and one of their couple friends were the proud recipients of the little souveniers. I won’t post the photos of the event that followed, but it was pretty funny!!

The dance floor was a fun place to be! Irwin Entertainment did an amazing job of getting everyone involved in the festivities. My favorite is always when Rocky Top is played at a Tennessee wedding and everyone starts dancing and swinging/swapping partners though :)!

Just after Alison & Drew danced their last dance, everyone lined up for a sparkler exit. There wasn’t much room for the sparklers though and it ended up being a little bit of a crazy exit. I’m pretty sure that when the sparks started flying, there were some screams too :)!
