A Story of Love – Lebanon & Nashville, TN Family Photographer

This family has been through an amazing journey over the past year or so, and I was so thrilled to finally get to capture some of their joy on camera!!  I’ve known Cindy for many years and have kept up with her through Facebook and her blog in the more recent years.  She and her family welcomed a new addition into their family just over 7 months ago.  After months and months of waiting for the call to go get their baby girl, it finally came earlier this year and off they went!  Initially, I had planned to meet them at the airport and capture all of the raw emotions that I’m certain were a part of their homecoming.  Things didn’t end up working out that way, so I was ecstatic when she contacted me about taking their family photos when they were in town.  Beautiful Ella is about 20 months old now, and is so so busy.  She is talking up a storm and seems to have settled right into her role as daughter and baby sister.  I’d say her big brothers have settled right into their roles as well!  While it’s evident that they’re completely in love with her, they’ve also mastered knowing exactly how to push her buttons….isn’t that what big brothers are for!  I had so much fun with these guys!  That middle one wasn’t too fond of getting his picture made, but we hassled him into cooperating for just a few! ha!!

 Of course, the goal was to get a family portrait, and let me just say they made me work for it!  I’m not going to preview my favorite ones in case they end up a Christmas Card, but had to post one that shows just a little personality shining through (which is definitely not a bad thing)!!!  Cindy..I promise they’re better than you think they are ;)!!

I took a few extra shots of Ella just to capture the love between her and her parents and of course some of her spunky little personality!

I think I can safely say that this sums up how everyone feels about this little girl finally being home!!
