Mount Juliet, TN Photographer – Sloane & Wesley, 3 years

Can you guys even believe that school starts back in less than 3 weeks???!!!!  Completely blows my mind!  Summer ALWAYS goes way too fast, and I’m pretty sure I dread it more than the kids do most days!  On days like today though, I can hear my children arguing constantly since they woke up, and I think maybe it’s not so bad after all ;)!  We have had a crazy busy summer, and way more than our fair share of time on the road.  The majority of our trips were short and close by, but being gone every weekend takes its toll no matter how close to home you are!  To cap off our travels, we took a last minute trip to Florida last week with my husband’s family.  We, literally, decided to go just a couple of days before we left, and thanks to some amazing clients who rescheduled for me, I was able to clear my calendar.  I was picturing several days of fun in the sun, and unfortunately, ended up with several days of rain in the room!  We had a good time anyway, and were oh so thankful for the 2 good days on the beach that we did get!  I’m hoping our October trip is identical to the one we took last year!  I think I’ll start praying now!

This week, I’m back at it, and definitely playing catch up!!!  It’s been a full week of sessions and trying to get back on schedule with editing, email, etc.!!  My calendar is quickly filling up for the fall, so if you haven’t yet booked your session, now is the time to do so!!  Also, if you are pregnant and wanting to plan for a newborn session, it’s never too early to get on the calendar!!   I have completely neglected my blog for the last…..well year or so I guess, but wanted to quickly check in and say hello and let everyone know I’m still alive and kickin’!!   I figured if I was going to blog, then I might as well include a few pictures, right?!  I first photographed these two when they were just babies!  Seems like forever ago now!!  They have turned into the best two little people, and I loved seeing them again earlier this week!!  Sloane is so funny, and talks like such a big girl now!  I absolutely love baby voices, babble, etc., but I think my favorite talking stage is when they still have little tiny voices, but the ability to use big words :)!  Wesley wasn’t too sure he wanted to be a part of the whole picture taking process, but a bribe or two later, we got the best of him!  So happy we avoided the rain this week and even got a little sunshine at the end!!  Just a little peak at their session!!!
