Despite all odds, I had the honor of photographing Jennifer & Matthew’s wedding late last month on a very cold Saturday!! I started getting sick a few days prior to the wedding and ended up with a strep diagnosis the day before! On top of that, my trusted second shooter came down with a horrible stomach virus and wasn’t able to come! I, thankfully, was able to get my friend, Robyn, to assist with almost no notice, and everything went off without a hitch!
The wedding was held at West Haven Baptist Church which has been built behind my very best friends childhood home. That was a little different for me, and her old house serves as the background for some of the shots. I spent many a night in that front upstairs bedroom! The reception was held in Bairds Chapel on the grounds of Cumberland University. It is truly a stunning space!!
