If you hang around here much at all, then you’ve seen Connor’s sweet little face every few months. He had his birthday a few weeks ago, but due to some work schedules, his birthday party was just held this past weekend so everyone could be there. His mom asked me to be there to document the fun so she could enjoy the fruits of her labor…and labor she did! This girl went ALL OUT for this party, and did an awesome job bringing it all together. Just take a look!!

Most 1 year olds tend to get a little overwhelmed at their parties, especially when it’s one with lots of people. Connor didn’t seem fazed at all by the crowd. He just walked around through everyone and went about his business. He was too cute!

At cake time, Connor didn’t know what to think. He hated his birthday hat, but enjoyed everyone singing to him. When it came time to eat cake, he totally refused it, but he was so adorable!

He really enjoyed looking at all of his cool new toys, especially all of the balls! He cracked me up appearing to read along with the cards when Kelli showed them to him.

Connor is such a fun-loving, laid back little guy! I have really enjoyed getting to photograph him every few months and loved being a part of his big birthday bash!! Kelli worked so hard to make each and everything special, and it turned out so great!!

um, LOVE THESE! Chesley, you did a perfect job of capturing the joy and EASE of this day! I kept telling Kelli… It was just SO fun to be there! It felt like time flew by… oh and you know my favorite is the one with that baby boy on the cow! Thank you that! Uncle Kyle and I might need to have that one to frame!

What a wonderful idea, to have someone else phototgraph that first birthday party. It was all beautiful and your photos captured it perfectly.
