Casey & Will’s Alabama Wedding – Grant, AL Wedding Photographer

This past weekend, I was lucky enough to be a part of Casey & Will’s big day.  Casey grew up in the small town of Grant, AL and decided that’s where she wanted to get married.  The bridesmaids all stayed in a cabin by the lake the night before and were already well into their getting ready process when I arrived.  The guys decided to get ready at the church, so I didn’t get to see those handsome fellas until it was go time.  When I arrived at the cabin, Casey seemed so relaxed.  She was helping her bridesmaids with their make-up, and appeared to be just taking it all in.  They made me feel completely welcome and almost like I, too, was part of their bridal party.  I’ve been working on this blog post for awhile, but as you can see, I’m posting ALOT of images, which takes some time to get through!

Since my husband is a die hard UT fan, I feel a little bad posting this photo first :)!

Casey, you are gorgeous!!!

Once everyone was dressed and ready to go, we headed out to the dock just behind their cabin for a few photos.  First of the bride alone, and then all of her bridesmaids joined her.

These girls were a riot!  They were one of the most fun wedding parties ever, and made my job so so easy!

undefined The bridesmaid’s dresses were to die for!  I adored the color and the way they moved!  I just happened to wear a dress that was exactly the same color and was asked repeatedly if I did it on purpose.  Truth is, I had no clue what color their dresses were until I arrived!

The limo came to the cabin to pick the bridesmaids up for the trek to the church.

Casey’s dad helped her out of the car when it was time for the ceremony.

I love Will’s face in this photo when he saw his gorgeous bride for the first time!

Casey & Will didn’t see each other before the wedding, so this was their first chance to finally relax and take a good look at one another.

Everyone milled around a little bit outside awhile after the ceremony, and I just couldn’t resist a shot of this handsome little guy.

I don’t usually post family shots in the preview, but couldn’t resist this shot of Will with his grandmother.  I didn’t tell them to do this, but how cute are they?!

The old Grant school house is right across the street from the chapel, so walked across for some bridal party photos!

Are these some gorgeous girls or what?!  I kidded that it was the fittest group of girls I’d ever been around!  They were so fun too!undefined

The guys were pretty awesome too!  Will gave them all sunglasses as groomsmen gifts, so of course, we had to incorporate those!

How cute are these 2 littles?!  The flower girls were not in the mood for photos, but these two boys were so adorable!

After we sent everyone else off to the reception, Casey & Will were finally able to get some photos of just the two of them.

Once we finished with their photos, we headed over to the Broken Arrow Country Club for the reception!

The sister & brother of the bride gave some pretty amusing toasts and then it was time for CAKE!

What started off nice, got a little ugly :)!

These guys really wanted Will’s twin brother Matt to have the garter, but he was not voluntarily picking it up.  It resulted in a pretty funny series!

The reception was full of fun, laughter and dancing.  Even the mother of the bride (seen on the top left) got in on the dancing.  Love it!

Will and Casey danced to one last special song before their departure.

You guys are amazing!  Thank you so much for including me in your wedding day!  I am so glad our paths crossed!  Congratulations and I hope that you are having a fabulous time in Puerto Rico!!!
