Cole – 3 months old – Lebanon & Mt. Juliet, TN Baby Photographer

It’s hard to believe that it’s been 3 whole months since I was doing baby Cole’s newborn photos.  He has grown a ton, and is starting to look even more like his big brothers!  Big Brother Landon was home and helped me out with all kinds of stuff.  We also snapped a few photos of him just to document his sweet self at 3 years old.  He is a complete ham!Cole didn’t know if he was really in the mood for photos on Tuesday, but thankfully, he went with the flow for at least a little while!  Once we laid him down though, he was a goner.  I love it when 3 month olds fall asleep at the end of the session, so I can get a sweet sleeping photo too! Once he was asleep, I took a few extra minutes and snapped a few photos of his ADORABLE nursery!!

Ballet – Personal – Lebanon & Mt. Juliet, TN Photographer

HOLY MOLY I am BEHIND on personal posts!  I’ve gotten extremely bad at taking care of my own photos!  Can you believe I haven’t printed any from this year or last?!  I’ve uploaded, edited & even categorized by month, which ones to print, etc., but the actual album thing…well, it hasn’t happened!  So, so bad!!  It’s on my never ending, ever growing to do list though, and will hopefully make it to the top one of these days!  In the mean time, I’m going to try to blog some happenings from this year!  I thought I’d start with ballet.  Claire took ballet in the spring.  She seemed to like it, but I’m about 99.5% sure the girl isn’t gonna have a ballerina body:)!  The time for the class this fall interferes with Grant’s school pick up time so we’re not going to be able to swing it.  However, I love the photos I took there.  The studio had amazing natural light, which was awesome.  We weren’t really allowed to be in the room, but I think these photos are from the last day when we were allowed to observe.  Truth be told, I think Claire just liked seeing her friend Sophie there, and the rest well…she’d rather pick her nose:)…as is evidenced below!  And the last two photos…well they’re not from ballet.  They’re from February, and since this post is about my girl, I thought I’d include them too:)!  One showcases her ever changing sense of style and in the other, she has her lamby and one of my favorite little outfits..nothing special, just one I loved!

Latest Things

I’d love to do a full post on what all is going on in our lives, but I just don’t seem to be able to find the time!  Here are 2 things that seem to be at the forefront right now:

1.  Grant started 1st grade!  (he’s in the green shirt)

2.  Claire is OBSESSED with her daddy’s ipod touch!  Yes, I’m fully aware that it’s pathetic that I said this on the forefront:)!  I just had to post this picture of my girl:)!

Ellie & Harrison – Nashville & Murfreesboro Child Photographer

Ahhhh….the past several days have been SO gorgeous!!  I do ALOT of sessions outdoors this time of year, and while I love love love the green grass and all that goes along with spring & summer, I do not enjoy sessions on sticky summer nights.  Do I make the best of it?  Yes, of course I do!  However, if I had my pick, the weather would be like it was today all summer long!  Just the right amount of warmth and sunshine with a little breeze in the air – perfection!  Last night was one of those perfect nights, and lucky me I got to spend it with these 2 cuties!  Meet Ellie & Harrison!  Have you ever seen 2 more beautiful children?!  These two recently turned 4, and were completely full of themselves!!!  I loved trying to figure out just what made them tick and how to pull out those sweet grins!!  By the end of our session, we were fast friends, and I may have even snagged a few hugs and kisses before I left:)!  Hope you guys love your preview!

Sweet Baby Wade – Lebanon & Mt. Juliet, TN Newborn Photographer

Baby Wade is the 3rd addition to some of our sweet friends.  He followed his brother’s example and arrived with a super full head of hair.  It is so soft, and just begs to be touched!  I was so glad we were finally able to fit his session in yesterday!  He was 2 weeks old to the day, which is right at the end of when I like to do newborn sessions.  He slept like a champ though and didn’t make a peep the entire time!  Wade’s big sister just started 1st grade, so unfortunately she wasn’t home while we were doing these, which just means I’ll have to talk her into sitting still with him at a later date!!  We are all so happy for you guys, and cannot wait so see this little guy grow!!
